kWp describes the solar panels’ combined rated peak power: 470W × panel count ÷ 1,000. It is different from battery capacity in kWh and from the energy your system will generate over a year. Images illustrate the equipment range, not the number of panels supplied. Your written quotation confirms scaffolding, cable routes, electrical work and any optional extras.
PLANNING SOLAR FOR YOUR HINCKLEY PROPERTY
For a Hinckley household comparing solar quotes, panel count is a useful starting point—not the whole design. An 8-panel array needs less usable roof area than a 16-panel array, but shading, roof faces and the space around obstacles can change what will fit.
Think about when your home uses electricity. If you are out during the day, discuss how a battery could store surplus generation for your return. If you work from home, charge an electric vehicle or expect demand to increase, bring those details to the survey so we can compare the options using your own consumption.

YOUR HINCKLEY SOLAR PROJECT
01 · DISCOVER
Send your Hinckley postcode, a recent electricity bill and any roof photos you have. Tell us about an existing solar system or plans for an EV charger.
02 · DESIGN
We assess the roof, shading, access and electrical supply. Your proposal identifies the panel layout, solar capacity, inverter and battery equipment being quoted.
03 · INSTALL
We agree access and the installation scope, coordinate the relevant DNO process, then fit and commission the equipment. Timing is confirmed for your project.
04 · SUPPORT
We explain how to read generation and battery information, provide the relevant certification, and make sure you know how to contact Sunergy for aftercare.
GENERATE
Choose a starting array of 8 panels (3.76 kWp), 12 panels (5.64 kWp) or 16 panels (7.52 kWp). All three use 470W Jinko panels; the survey confirms whether that layout is suitable for your roof.
STORE
The solar-and-storage packages include FOX ESS EP12 equipment. Battery capacity is considered alongside expected surplus generation and evening demand. Nominal capacity is different from the energy delivered after operating limits and losses.
MONITOR
Compatible monitoring helps you follow generation and household demand after installation. Your handover covers the app, battery operation and the settings that matter for your agreed system.
HINCKLEY SOLAR INSTALLATION FAQS
Yes. Sunergy Renewables takes enquiries for solar PV and battery installation in Hinckley, with surveys arranged from our Nuneaton base. Send your full postcode and property details so we can discuss access, the roof and the next available steps for your project.
Use the three packages on this page to compare the proposed panel counts and starting prices. A full quotation needs to account for the inverter, battery equipment, scaffolding, roof access and electrical work. Ask for an itemised scope so you can compare like-for-like installation proposals.
With 470W panels, these arrays have rated capacities of 3.76 kWp, 5.64 kWp and 7.52 kWp respectively. We compare usable roof space, shading and electricity demand before recommending a layout. A bigger array is not automatically the best use of your budget.
Start with your full postcode, a recent electricity bill or annual usage figure, and any available photographs of the roof and consumer unit. If you already have solar, include the inverter model and system details if known. These details help us prepare for the survey; photographs do not replace the site assessment.
We welcome enquiries from these areas around Hinckley. Share the full installation address and tell us about access or parking restrictions when arranging a survey, so the visit can be planned for your property.
Solar panels can generate electricity without battery storage. A battery may be useful when generation and consumption happen at different times. We compare your daytime and evening use, likely surplus generation and storage cost before proposing a suitable arrangement.
A retrofit needs an equipment and electrical assessment. We review the existing inverter, available space and compatible installation options before quoting. Do not assume the solar-and-battery package price on this page applies unchanged to a retrofit.
The kWp figure describes rated array power, not annual generation. Your generation estimate depends on the proposed roof layout, direction, pitch, shading and other design assumptions. We explain those assumptions in the proposal rather than using one annual figure for every Hinckley home.
Our office is at Unit 18, Dunns Close, Nuneaton, CV11 4NF. Hinckley customers can contact Sunergy on 02477 752 574 or info@sunergyrenewables.com about their installation and aftercare. Please arrange an appointment before visiting the office.
Yes. A commercial proposal needs its own assessment of roof space, daytime consumption, electrical supply and connection requirements. See our commercial solar installation service and send the site address and usage information to discuss a tailored design.

ANOTHER WAY TO TAKE CONTROL
Your Hinckley property may already have panels, or the roof may not suit a new array. Ask us to compare a battery retrofit or a battery-only system with a new solar installation. Existing equipment, available space and tariff arrangements all affect the options.
