Monthly payments are subject to an annual increase of 2.5%. Missing payments could have severe consequences and make obtaining credit more difficult.

How does it work?

System installation with lifetime monitoring and repairs include:

  • Installation by your trusted Sunergy Renewables engineer.
  • Performance monitoring and inspections.
  • Unlimited system repairs.
  • No callout fees or excess for the lifetime of your plan.
  • Flexible term from 5 to 25 years.
  • Replacement protection (if any of the installed equipment breaks down within your plan term and can’t be repaired, Hometree Finance will install a replacement free of charge)

When paying for part of your package upfront, you can pay up to 25% of your system installation value (capped at £5,000). This then reduces your monthly payments for the remainder the plan.

Your upfront amount will be taken by direct debit at the same time as your first monthly payment to Hometree Finance, a few days after your new system has been installed. As an example, if you’ve chosen to pay £1,250 upfront and your monthly payment is £64, your first payment will be £1,314, with subsequent monthly payments of £64 taken on your chosen day of the month.

For lower order values, some longer terms aren’t available with £0 upfront. By choosing a larger upfront amount, you may be able to access longer plan terms of up to 25 years, which means lower monthly payments

Both Hometree, and us here at Sunergy Renewables, want to make the transition to solar as affordable as possible. If you don’t have anything you can pay upfront for your brand new solar panels – don’t worry, you can still apply to pay monthly without paying a penny before your install. When you apply directly with Hometree, they’ll run you through all your options so you can make the best decision for you, and your wallet.

Unlike a standard loan, the Hometree Solar Plan lets you spread costs over longer terms, reducing your monthly payments. It also includes system monitoring, inspections, unlimited repairs, and no callout fees – so you’re covered for the lifetime of the plan.

If you choose to upgrade your system, we can set you up with a new Solar Plan. Otherwise your plan, including system monitoring and repairs, will automatically end as per the terms of your agreement with Hometree Finance.
