Financial gain
Lower energy bills for 25 years
The solar panels we use are some of the best in the world. These solar panels come complete with a 12-year product warranty and a 25-year performance guarantee. So you know you’re investing in a future-proof technology that is built to reliably generate energy and savings for decades to come.
Lower Co2
Meet ESG targets
Generate electricity on site and reduce the grid electricity your business buys. We assess expected generation and your operating pattern so carbon and cost projections are based on the proposed installation.
Security
Achieve energy independence
Installing solar panels on commercial buildings promotes energy independence. By generating your own electricity, businesses become less reliant on the power grid and are less susceptible to fluctuations in energy prices.
How much does it cost to install a commercial solar pv system?
Every commercial solar PV project is different and the cost of an installation can vary considerably. Variables include the size of the system, where the panels are going to be placed, installation requirements (scaffolding, access, electrical equipment etc) quality of products (including warranty length) and labour. When you first make contact with us, we can provide an estimate and a design with some information provided by yourself, if you are happy with the estimate we can then look to book in a site survey, following this we will then provide a formal proposal.

Compare funding routes for your commercial energy project
The right approach depends on your cash flow, site ownership, project size and how long you expect to use the building. Confirm the total cost, ownership and maintenance responsibilities before choosing an arrangement.
Buying the system
Paying for an installation directly gives your business ownership of the equipment. Compare the capital cost with a realistic forecast of electricity savings, maintenance and replacement costs. Ask your accountant which tax reliefs, if any, apply to your circumstances; a relief does not automatically reduce every business’s installation cost by the same percentage.
Asset finance
A finance agreement can spread the initial cost. Compare interest, fees, total repayments, security requirements and what happens to ownership at the end of the term. Availability depends on the provider, the applicant and the project.
Power purchase agreements
Under a power purchase agreement, a third party may own and operate an installation while your business purchases the electricity it produces under agreed terms. Check the electricity price, any increases, contract length, roof obligations, maintenance, insurance and end-of-term arrangements. A PPA is a contractual commitment; it is not a promise of free electricity.
Grants and support schemes
Funding programmes change and may be limited by location, eligibility and budget. Check the current scheme rules before committing to equipment or installation. Do not assume funding has been awarded until you receive confirmation from the scheme administrator.
Discuss your commercial project with Sunergy Renewables. We can help define the installation scope and technical requirements so you can compare appropriate funding options.
